FAQ

What is FreeMoov Robotics?

FreeMoov Robotics is an innovative company specialising inautomated material handlingandintelligent load transportthrough its modular robotic solutions.

What are the advantages of FreeMoov Robotics transporters?
  • Maximum manoeuvrability: 90° turns and90°rotation on the spot, with precise movement.
  • Enhanced safety: Emergency braking and obstacle detection.
  • Adaptability: Indoor and outdoor use, including uneven ground. Transport of loads of different weights and shapes.
  • Modularity: Compatible with different equipment and operational needs.
Where are FreeMoov Robotics products made?

All products aredesigned and made in France, with anengineering office and workshop in Essonne..

What loads can be transported?

FreeMoov solutions FreeMoov can transportup to several tonnesdepending on the number ofNodesused. We adapt the number of Nodes needed to the size and weight of the load. Our R&D team can develop tailored solutions..

How are the transporters connected?

The Nodes areinterconnected in a network. They configure themselves at startup; no user action is required.

What is the vehicles' range?

FreeMoov transporters from FreeMoov Robotics offera full working day of operationafter just3 hours of charging ..

Can the transporters operate on difficult ground?

Yes, the Nodes can beequipped with all-terrain wheels, enabling them to negotiateobstacles and uneven ground..

How safe are the transporters?

We comply with standards ISO 10218, ISO 13849 and the Machinery Directive 2006/42/CE
We strive to meet a minimum safety performance level of PLd

Features include:

  • A speed limit of 5 km/hto help prevent accidents.
  • Integrated emergency braking
  • Redundant sensors
  • Model-based software diagnostics and sensor fusion
  • Obstacle detection and path following
How can I acquire a FreeMoov Robotics product?

FreeMoov Robotics offers3 options :

  1. Purchaseoutright with a maintenance agreement.
  1. Leasing over 36 or 60 months with a maintenance agreement
  1. Long-term rentalwith full maintenance included and volume-based pricing.
What services are included in maintenance?

The maintenance package includes:

  • Spare parts
  • Labour
  • Visits from our teams when needed

We can also provide an additional ready-to-use Node in a transport case on your site. In the event of a fault:

    • 10 minutes of downtime to replace the faulty Node with the spare (only four screws need removing)
    • Replacement of your faulty Node with a working one by carrier within 72 hours

How does on-site maintenance work?

The Nodes areeasy to replacethanks to theirPlug & Play.

All Nodes are interchangeable without any configuration.

Anadditional Nodeis included with every network kit to prevent interruptions.

Is training required to use FreeMoov Robotics transporters?

Getting started isquick and easy :

  • 15-minute training
  • No CACES certification required
  • Ergonomic, intuitive radio remote control

Our teams can also provide a training session.

Which sectors use FreeMoov Robotics products?
  • Manufacturing: Streamlining internal logistics.
  • Warehousing and logistics: Moving pallets and heavy packages.
  • Construction and worksites: Moving loads over uneven ground.
  • Sensitive sites: Restricted areas requiring safe material handling.
Can the products be adapted to specific needs?

Yes. FreeMoov Robotics offersProMoov with different custom bodies and equipmentfor different applications:

  • Platforms and sideboardsfor all-terrain transport.
  • Lift tablesfor handling loads at height.
  • Containers and self-tipping skipsfor transporting rubble.
  • Lifting jibs for picking up heavy objects from the ground.

For very heavy or bulky objects, we can design a custom chassis fitted with networked Nodes, giving you a solution suited to your application.

What happens if a Node breaks down?

The maintenance package includes a spare Node, ready to use and stored in a transport case.

  1. Take the spare Node out of its transport case.
  2. Detach the faulty Node from the structure by removing the four screws provided for this purpose (see the instructions).
  3. Fit the spare Node in its place beneath the structure.
  4. Switch on the network; no further action is needed. The Nodes recognise one another, with no configuration required. Your machine is operational again.
  5. Place the faulty Node in the transport case.
  6. Attach the QR code supplied by our team to the transport case.

There is no additional charge: a carrier will collect the case and replace it with one containing a working Node.

Are FreeMoov Robotics products ATEX certified?

Not yet. We plan to launch an ATEX version by 2027.
